We knew there had to be a better way. A way that goes beyond grades and bullet points to understand who people really areātheir motivations, their personality, their potential. A way that makes the hiring process more human, more transparent, and more effective for everyone involved.

With over 15 years of recruitment experience within the professional services sector, Katie has built a deep understanding of how talent connects with opportunity. After running her own recruitment company, she saw firsthand the challenges and inefficiencies of traditional per-hire feesāespecially with entry level talent, where skill matching is impossible. Driven to create a fairer, more accessible approach for both employers and candidates, Katie founded The Begin App to redefine how early careers hiring works, making the process simpler, smarter, and more beneficial for everyone involved.
